Mount Zion Hotel - Jerusalem, Israel #travel #VisitIsrael

Staying in Jersusalem, Israel, offers the opportunity to stay in some very unique hotels. I spent two nights in the Mount Zion Hotel while exploring Jerusalem. It is a boutique hotel that overlooks historical settings.
My room overlooked the outdoor courtyard, but Jerusalem can be very rainy in the winter, so I didn't get to lounge there during my stay.
The lobby offers a spectacular view of Jerusalem through a huge, arched picture window. The rolling hills of Jerusalem are simply breathtaking from this vantage point, even with the rain.
My room was warm and cozy, with a big, comfortable bed and lots of light. Architectural details like the arch over the bed and the rich wood tones made the room feel luxurious.
The room features special touches I haven't seen in other hotels, like the beautifully stenciled closet door.
Vintage furniture filled the room, from the mirror above the dresser to the charming chairs and even the light fixtures on the wall.
Since I'm a blogger, I did miss having a real desk to work at, but I managed with the corner table and one of the chairs.
My room also featured a tall arched window, reminiscent of the giant arched window in the lobby of the Mount Zion Hotel.
Even the bathroom toiletries were presented on stunning blue and white ceramic trays.
This mosaic on the bathroom wall is gorgeous. Ceramic tiles even lined the edges of the bathroom mirror. Everything was impeccably clean.
Mount Zion Hotel also features a marvelous breakfast buffet. There are so many food choices! Since I spent two nights in this hotel, I took a picture of both my breakfast meals.
Mount Zion Hotel also offers a spa, an authentic Turkish steam bath, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It's a wonderful place to stay, and the staff there are very friendly and helpful.
