Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives #review

Disclosure: I received product at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
Knives can be a tricky tool to have in the kitchen. Obviously they are required for preparing food, but there are safety issues, storage issues, and care issues. I received a beautiful set of three Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives to review - an 8" Chef Knife, a 7" Santoku Knife, and a 3.5" Paring Knife.
These Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives are extremely well-made. Each one includes a built-in knife-sharpening sleeve, which also provides excellent protection for my fingers when I'm digging in my kitchen tool drawer. I love that I no longer have to sharpen my own kitchen knives! Being able to store them in a drawer means they're not sitting on my countertop.
The handles on the Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives are triple-riveted and designed to be comfortable in my hand, which makes them easier to use and provides me a solid handle grip. The blades are high-carbon stainless steel, so they are very strong and very durable.
Although the packaging says they are dishwasher safe, you are always better off to carefully hand wash and immediately dry your kitchen knives. Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives even come with a lifetime limited warranty. After using these knives for a while, I've found I definitely prefer them to the knives I previously purchased.
It is important to have several types of knives and know what each one is used for, so that you can get the best use from your knives. The Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Chef Knife is a versatile blade that is good for most cutting tasks. I use my Chef Knife for slicing, mincing, and chopping vegetables, and I always reach for it when cutting meats, because it's perfect for large cuts.
A Santoku Knife is an Asian-style knife for chopping, slicing, and dicing. It's incredibly well-balanced and features kullens (the recesses in the side of the knife) to limit the tearing of food and the sticking of food while cutting. The Paring Knife is perfect for small jobs, like peeling and cutting small garnishes.
I am incredibly impressed with the performance of these Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives. There are a few other knives in this collection, which are going on my wish list. I absolutely love being able to pull a highly sharpened knife every time! Shop today for Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Knives at Amazon, Pfaltzgraff, and Wayfair.
