I invite you to discover the April subscription box from Paper Pumpkin with me! Each month, a new craft kit arrives in my mailbox, with all the supplies I need to create something beautiful and useful. This month's kit is called "Sew You."It contains supplies to make nine all-occasion cards. I received the Sew You photopolymer stamp set of 12 stamps, a black ink pad, nine black and white card bases in three designs, nine blue envelopes, nine die cut word bubbles, 12 stickers in four designs, a sheet of 50 dimensional adhesives, a needle, and 12 yards of yellow thread.
These cards were so fun to make! Paper Pumpkin kits come with step-by-step directions and they even offer online video tutorials for their kits. All their supplies are created by Stampin' Up! so I know everything will be high-quality.
I first stamped all my cards, word bubbles and envelopes with the stamp set. Then, I used the yellow thread and needle to stitch through the word "YOU" on all the word bubbles. I'm SO glad the holes were all pre-punched on the word bubbles!
Then, I adhered the word bubbles to the card bases, added a sticker to the word bubbles, and placed them on the cards. It was so much fun and was a relaxing way to spend a quiet morning. I can't remember the last time I picked up a needle and thread.
My cards turned out absolutely lovely! I love receiving my monthly subscription box to Paper Pumpkin. Even more, I love having beautiful handmade items to give to others. These craft kits make me look much craftier than I really am.
