Pack Your Lunch in PlanetBox

Disclosure: I received product at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
Today is National Pack Your Lunch Day! Packing your lunch is always a better idea than running through a fast food restaurant drive-through. You'll save money on food and you'll be making healthier eating choices. PlanetBox is a fabulous lunchbox system that can help!
PlanetBox is the smart lunchbox that guides adults and kids in packing a well-balanced meal quickly and easily. Part bento box and part TV dinner tray, these high-quality, stainless steel, segmented containers are the best way to pack delicious, no-waste meals.
There are three different lunch packing systems from PlanetBox - the Launch, the Rover, and the Shuttle. This one is the Launch which holds nearly 6.5 cups of food. It is designed to hold a 3 course meal. The PlanetBox is also dishwasher safe!
The Launch Complete Kit includes a Tall Dipper metal container for dips and sauces, a fun magnet set of your choice, a glass Satellite Dish for reheating foods with a wrap-around lid, as well as a slim Sleeve for easy transport. The outer sleeves are available in multiple color choices.
I filled my Launch PlanetBox with lettuce, tomato, wheat crackers, blackberries, a cheese stick, and some light ranch dressing. It was plenty of food for my lunch and I didn't even fill it full. It was easy and fun to pack my lunch. The trays feature a metal clamp that keeps the food in their compartments.
The medium-sized PlanetBox is the Rover. Its carry bag features two outside pockets, one that fits the optional BottleRocket Water Bottle. The PlanetBox Rover is designed for those who like a wide variety of foods in smaller serving sizes. This carry bag also comes with an optional shoulder strap.
The Rover holds nearly 4.5 cups of food, which satisfies both adults and children. The Rover Complete Kit includes a Rover lunchbox, Big and Little Dipper metal containers for wet messy foods, a choice of magnet designs, as well as a Carry Bag made out of recycled polyester.
I think the PlanetBox is a fabulous way to take lunch on the go! My husband takes his lunch to work so we will be using these on a regular basis. He just packs up his lunch with the cold foods in the evening, puts the whole thing in the fridge, then adds the room temperature foods before he leaves.
I packed a healthy lunch in a Rover PlanetBox, with strawberries, cheese blocks, pepperoni slices, pumpkin seeds, carrot matchsticks, wheat pretzels, and a sliver of dark chocolate. I think PlanetBox is the perfect way to control portions!

Check out their "Plan-It App" that helps users plan healthy ways to fill each compartment for each day of the week. After you've planned out your week, you can even download a shopping list to take with you to the grocery store. PlanetBox offers even more ideas on their Instagram! 1. These look so great. I pack my husbands lunch every day and I have been discarding our plastic containers for healthier ones.

    1. I also heard that plastic can leach chemicals into food.
