Some of you probably avoid canned or packaged fruit because of the sugar. Dole has just found the solution. The new Dole No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls are sweetened with Monk fruit instead of sugar! They currently offer this option on their Mandarin Oranges and Diced Peaches, and will soon be releasing their No Sugar Added Pineapple.Monk fruit is a little melon that ripens on the vine in remote central Asia. Originally harvested over 800 years ago and used by monks for its health properties and sweetness, Monk fruit concentrate is 150 times sweeter than sugar!
I love the Dole No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls and actually like the taste better than the sugar sweetened ones. These little bowls are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack! You could even pass them out for Halloween treats.
