SCOTTeVEST RFID Travel Vest - Review #travel

Disclosure: I received product at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
The SCOTTeVEST RFID Travel Vest has just been released and I'm so excited to share it with you! This amazing vest is so much more than a fabulous fashion item. Filled with pockets both outside and inside, it also features a a high-tech pocket to protect a traveler's private information. Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) security is a growing concern in an increasingly-connected world and this vest actually protects from people using technology to exploit weaknesses in cell phones, credit cards and passports.
The vest is amazingly lightweight and is comfortable to wear even when the pockets are filled with your phone, identification cards, credit cards, smartphone, passport, and much more. There are styles for both men and women. The men's vest features 26 pockets and the women's vest features 18 pockets.
Available in black, gray, khaki or red for women, and black, gray, navy or olive for men, this vest is as fashionable as it is functional. There are loops inside the jacket to secure the cords for your music player's earbuds and a clearview pocket so you can use your smartphone without even removing it from the pocket.
The RFID Travel Vest also has a “two-way zipper” for the center front zipper that can be opened from the top or the bottom. It's extremely comfortable to wear and the inner lining is a breathable soft mesh material that moves easily with you. It even has a hotel key card protector!
“We created the RFID Travel Vest,” said SCOTTeVEST CEO Scott Jordan, “because RFID security is a growing concern to travelers, particularly when traveling abroad. Identity theft is no laughing matter, and RFID tags on passports and credit cards make it ridiculously easy to be digitally pickpocketed without even realizing your information has been hacked. The special pocket in the RFID Vest stops this from happening to you.”

  1. It saddens me to know we live in a world where this type of vest is needed-not just to carry items but to protect against identity theft. It is a nice looking vest and it would be nice not to have to carry around a pocketbook.
