Pasta Chips for Healthier Snacking - Review

Disclosure: I received samples at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
As much as I love a big, heavy meal, there are many times when I'd rather just snack. I'm excited to introduce a brand new chip hitting the markets across the country...Pasta Chips from Vintage Italia! Made with premium semolina wheat flour, Pasta Chips are a great source of protein, plus they are cholesterol-free. They have 60% less fat than potato chips and 30% less fat than pita chips.
Pasta Chips are made from real pasta then baked until they become amazingly crisp chips. They come in five delectable flavors inspired by the sauces and tastes of Italy - Marinara, Alfredo, Spicy Tomato Basil, Garlic Olive Oil, and Mediterranean Sea Salt. Pasta Chips are the perfect chip whether straight from the bag, dipped, or topped and served.
I received three flavors to try - Garlic Olive Oil, Marinara, and Spicy Tomato Basil. I used the Garlic Olive Oil Pasta Chips as the base for a tuna salad appetizer - simply mix 1 can drained tuna with 2 tablespoons mayo, 1 tablespoon mustard, 1 tablespoon pickle relish, then top each Pasta Chip with the tuna salad mixture and sprinkle a bit of paprika on top. Delicious!
The Marinara Pasta Chips are a little bit spicier and we ate them straight out of the bag. They taste so good and a 28g serving has only 120 calories. These innovative Tuscan-inspired chips are the perfect side for soups and sandwiches.
My favorite of the three flavors I received is the Spicy Tomato Herb. These Pasta Chips are much spicier and have a great kick. I could see topping these with a small dollop of sour cream and few chopped green onions for an amazing appetizer. I love Pasta Chips!
