Disclosure: I received Harvest Snaps at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
Introducing my newest favorite healthy snack! Harvest Snaps are a guilt-free snack made of snapeas and lentils. Snapea Crisps are made from naturally dried peas, which make up 70% of the product, and Lentil Snaps are made from 65% Lentils and contain 5g of protein and 13% of your daily fiber. They are so delicious and I simply love them. The Snapea Crisps come in four flavors - Lightly Salted, Black Pepper, Caesar, and Wasabi Ranch. The Lentil Snaps come in two flavors - Tomato Basil and Onion Thyme. My favorites are the Wasabi Ranch and Tomato Basil, but I truly love them all.
Their shape reminds me of french fries, but Harvest Snaps are baked, not fried, and they are lower in sodium and fat than lots of other snacks. They are incredibly light and crunchy, with a burst of flavor that tastes nothing like vegetables! Did I mention I have never liked peas?? I'll eat these though!
If you are a snacker, it's important to reach for something that is good for your body, and these are perfect for that late afternoon munchie or midnight snack. They are also fabulous in a salad! My kids love them and I bet yours will too. Put some in their lunchbox or serve as a crunchy afterschool snack.
Visit harvestsnaps.com and find out where you can buy them locally. While you're there, join the Snap Pack and check the website for their current promotions. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter. Happy healthy snacking!
I'm looking to start eating healthier, and these would probably help me do that! I'm a little nervous, though, since I'm not a huge fan of peas.
ReplyDeleteit looks like it would be good for a school lunch.
ReplyDeleteHarvest Snaps sound like a fun way to eat your veggies.
ReplyDeleteI love these but they are a bit salty for me. I would love to find the lightly saled ones in a store near me.
ReplyDeleteI've turned to a healthier eating lifestyle over the past 2 years, and I love finding new crunchy snacks! I miss my potato chips, but new salty treats help steer me clear of them :)
ReplyDeleteThis would be the perfect snack for my son's lunch box. I don't eat enough veggies, so these would be perfect for me, also.

ReplyDeleteMy kids MUST have Snapea Crisps with their 10am snack every day. If I run out of them, there will be tears. Please help this Mama keep her kids happy with Snapea Crisps!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have loved Snapeas for years but they were always hard to find. Now that I found them in my local store, I buy them out but they never have more than 5 bags. My favorite flavor is the Snapeas Ceasar flavor, yum! I throw them in my salads instead of croutons or just eat them straight out of the bag. Love these!!
ReplyDeleteThey are really good. Much better than potato chips...
ReplyDeleteLove the Black Pepper ones!
ReplyDeleteThese look good for snacking...and for packing in the kids' lunches.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review!
I can't get enough of them! I haven't found the Wasabi Ranch yet, but I'm still asking for them and looking. I love all of the flavors that I've tried!
ReplyDeleteWhile visiting at my daughter's house, I pulled out a bag that I brought, trying to get her to try some. When I told her to 'just try one!' She said that I reminded her of when she was a kid, and I was trying to get her to try something that she wouldn't like. She opened the bag, nibbled on one as we chatted... A few minutes later she said: "OMG! Take this bag from me, quick! I've already eaten more than 3/4ths of them!!!
We ALL LOVE 'EM!!!
would love to win a years supply of snappeas, but of course would like to know is that is your idea of a years supply or mine ??? lol could eat these constantly....just love them, have only tried the lightly salted and black pepper ones.... they are great !!
ReplyDeleteThese are so unbelievably delicious, my girlfriend bought a bunch of bags when we went on a trip and we devoured them. Light and airy, full of flavor, and apparently made without too many crazy ingredients. She said she got them for fairly cheap too which is great because so many 'snack' foods these days, especially the healthier ones, are expensive as heck.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! I can't get enough of the Wasabi Ranch flavor - just the right amount of heat to make my mouth tingle. :) They are perfectly crisp and crunchy without being heavy. Can't wait to try the other flavors and the lentil crisps as well.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind trying these...trying to eat healthier alternatives.
ReplyDeleteWe love Harvest Snaps! We follow a gluten free diet, and not only do they make a great snack, but I use Harvest Snaps to add a little bit of crunch to casseroles and salads. One of my husband's favorite dishes is green bean casserole with mushroom soup and french fried onions on top. The black pepper Harvest Snaps add the perfect crunch to this dish. Thanks for making a great multipurpose snack. We can hardly wait to try all the flavors.
ReplyDeletewhen I need a salty crunchy fix and I don't want to ruin my "diet" I grab a handful of snaps :)
