I am so happy that my parents took dental care so seriously when I was younger, had an accident when I was in grade school that has kept me very in tune with the importance of regular checkups. ReplyDeleteTooth care is important because periodontal health has been linked to other body systems, including the cardiac system. Sounds weird, but having an unhealthy set of teeth can lead to heart problems.
ReplyDeleteTooth infections can kill you by spreading to other parts of the body, so, dental health is really important. However, even just cosmetically, it is hard to realize how teeth alter your appearance until you meet someone with really bad ones. It detracts from their whole face.

It is so important because you need your chompers til you die and besides dental care is very expensive!

Because, it can lead to heart disease! Also, you can have bad breath if there is something wrong with your teeth and don't even get me started on gum disease!!! :-)
