Let's enjoy a stroll down memory lane; maybe a family vacation or a wonderful food from your childhood. Truly the options are endless!

The Dream House
In 2005, this house was my dream house. We bought it and moved in with big dreams of a large family house, a staircase the children would come down on Christmas morning, a separate area for my daycare business, and a huge yard in back that would eventually host the swimming pool. It was so exciting and I finally felt like I had "made it" in my life. Funny how things change!
This is my dream house in 2013. We're renting not buying, so we are not tied down by mortgages, homeowners' insurance, and owner repairs. It's a one-story house so I never have to climb the stairs again with a laundry basket or vacuum steps with the fear of falling. The only office area I need now is for blogging and scrapbooking. There are no safety gates or outlet covers and I can leave my knife block on my counter. The backyard is for barbecues and my dog Buddy's "business." It's much smaller and much easier to clean. Yes, things do change!

  1. Sound like a move for the good to me. Time changes everything and we must change with the times else risk becoming a relic or worse yet... the cat lady on the corner no one wants to visit. ;) I believe I've turned into the cow lady; cows, horses, pig... lol
