Spice Up Your Summer with Colman's Mustard

Disclosure: I received product at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
Summer is the perfect time to re-invigorate your favorite salad (or any summer dish) and change it from being a boring side dish to a healthful main course. Adding just a touch of Colman’s Mustard to your favorite salad dressing can turn the common into something extraordinary. Plus, Colman’s Mustard has less than 15 calories and only 0.8 grams of fat per teaspoon!
Try this Colman's recipe to add some kick:
Colman’s Chili Vinaigrette
  • 4 tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tbs. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Colman’s Original Powdered Mustard
  • 4 “splashes” mild green Tabasco sauce
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. honey
Here's another great recipe, compliments of Colman's:
Colman’s Zesty Salad Dressing
  • 2 Tbls Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Tbls Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Dill Weed
  • 3/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Lemon Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Colman's Original Prepared Mustard
Want to try my Sausage Stew recipe? You can find that HERE. I love Colman's Mustard because it's not your regular old mustard flavoring. I have to be careful not to overspice with it because I have the tendency to add so much that I'm the only person who will eat my recipes!
I also discovered that adding a dash of Colman's Powdered Mustard gives my breading the perfect summertime boost for making breaded baked chicken and breaded pan-fried fish. It's such a versatile ingredient to have in my kitchen and I can't wait to see what else I can create with it.
