Delicious Healthy Snacking with ShakeDowns Spiced Baby Carrots

This is one of those "why didn't I think of that" ideas. I love to munch on baby carrots, but I usually pair them up with a dip which adds extra calories. Bolthouse Farms ShakeDowns are a much better idea and the taste is incredible!
Appearing right here exclusively in the Austin area at local HEB stores, ShakeDowns are snack bags of baby carrots that include a pocket packet of spices. Available in Ranch or Chili and Lime, ShakeDowns keeps the spices separate until snack time.
Then the lucky snacker just pulls the spice packet open, allowing the spices to fall into the carrots. A few brisk shakes of the bag spreads the spices throughout the baby carrots, then a quick tear of the top of the carrot bag opens it up for delicious, healthy snacking.
At only 25 calories for the entire bag of seasoned baby carrots, it's a perfect guilt-free snack that provides the sweet and the salty taste you crave in a snack. What a fabulous idea for lunch boxes, brief cases, airline flights, road trips, after school snacks, spectator sports, and midnight munchies!
Both flavors are amazingly scrumptious, but the Chili and Lime has a little extra kick to it so it's my favorite of the two. ShakeDowns have no fat or sugar, and you won't need to add a dip to these tasty treats, plus their spices are all natural!
Austin is participating in a select consumer trial of ShakeDowns, so be sure to look for them at your HEB. I'll be keeping several bags in my fridge at all times for my family. Even USA Today called ShakeDowns one of “2013’s most compelling new product trends.”
Visit www.babycarrots.com and tell them you want them at every grocery store across America. Be sure to follow Bolthouse Farms on Facebook and Twitter too!
