Wild Planet Seafood - Easy Tuna Mac and Pizza Recipes

My family loves seafood and I love easy recipes. Luckily for me, Wild Planet Foods makes catching wild seafood easy for me by making them available at my local Target store. These are even recipes that children will eat!
I first made a box of macaroni shells and cheese, boiling the water then adding the macaroni shells to boil until the shells were soft. I drained the water out, then added the cheese and Wild Planet Wild Albacore Tuna to the pan, heating up the tuna and cheese a bit. Once it was heated, I spooned my "Wild Planet Tuna Mac" into bowls for dinner.
I really like the consistency and the taste of the Wild Planet tuna. However, since I never ever eat macaroni and cheese without ketchup, I had to add it to my bowl. Yes, really, and yes it's delicious that way! My family thinks I'm weird and they're probably right.
I also picked up a can of Wild Planet Wild Alaska Pink Salmon. I personally love salmon but have never tried it from a can. I happened to have an organic four-cheese frozen pizza in the freezer that would do nicely for my little seafood experience/experiment.
I opened the can, drained the water, and flaked the salmon into a bowl with a fork. You might notice the "sustainably caught" on the can label. I looked up Wild Planet's philosophy and found this: Wild Planet is committed to providing the finest tasting sustainably caught seafood while supporting the conservation of wild marine ecosystems. I really appreciate companies that conserve the world around me!
Using my hands, I tossed the Wild Planet Wild Alaska Pink Salmon over the top of the entire frozen pizza. I added a pinch of oregano and a few shakes of garlic powder on top of the salmon. Since I use a pizza stone for baking pizza, (I don't preheat my oven or the stone might break), I set in in the oven for 35 minutes to include the preheat time in the cooktime.
It was absolutely scrumptious and everyone ate every last bite of my "Wild Planet Salmon Pizza" creation. I was happy that I got my family to eat healthy! You can visit www.wildplanetfoods.com for more information on their products and be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter!
