As Junior and his sister race around the mall with their mother, making lists of all the fabulous toys they want for Christmas, they come across a tree filled with paper snowflakes. On each snowflake is a child's simple wish for Christmas, like gloves or shoes, a doll or ball. As the children consider the sadness of not having basic needs and wants, their hearts begin to change. Using their own money, they decide to purchase things for the children in need.
Junior and his sister also discover the joy of making gifts for each other, rather than buying them. As the family spends time together, the children begin to realize how blessed they are and begin to understand the meaning of contentment. It's a touching story that encourages family time, generosity and thankfulness. In the back of the book are ideas and tips that families can use to create their own special family memories and ways to give to others. An audio CD of the story also comes with the book. This would be a fabulous Christmas gift! You can purchase this and other books about Junior's adventures at www.daveramsey.com.
