Recipe - Simple Sausage Muffins

Here's a quick, easy entree idea that kids and adults will both love! Open a can of refrigerated biscuit dough and press each one into a muffin pan (I chose heart-shaped). Then slice up some fully cooked beef sausage to about a one-inch thick coin shape. Press the sausage into the dough with a fork and oven bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes, remove pan from oven to cool a bit, then serve!
I used a fork to gently loosen each biscuit from the pan and not a single one fell apart. I served these to four very picky preschoolers and they ate them all. This recipe could easily be altered by using pork sausage or hot dogs. Depending on what you choose to serve with it, you could use it for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
How do you make meals more fun for your kids?
