Tangerine Sky Productions Art and Book

Tangerine Sky Productions makes wonderful, inspirational and educational entertainment for families. Kevin and Kristen Collier have created a collection of intriguing characters that live through their books, videos and other merchandise. With titles for children, young adults and adults, you're sure to find several you want to add to your family's bookshelves.
I have several of their preschooler ebooks and the children LOVE for me to read them out loud over and over. Their website also has lots of free downloads of activity pages and coloring sheets. Check out all of their titles at http://tangerineskyproductions.com and connect with them on Twitter.
They have deemed Summer 2012 as the Summer of Giving and they are sponsoring a wonderful giveaway right here on Planet Weidknecht! One lucky reader will win an autographed book of the winner's choosing, plus an original signed character drawing, a prize worth over $100. You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the US to be eligible to win. To enter, just fill in the Rafflecopter form below. This giveaway will end at midnight ET on 7/29/2012. Good luck!

    1. I love Diligence, Polly. Kev did that years ago, I haven't read it in years, but it's such a sweet story.... Kev's a poet as well as artist, so is very sensitive (and naughty!), and he writes with a poet's heart....

    1. Mary, you're not nuts--just don't read it late at night, lol! I had to tell Kev he couldn't talk about it to me after 5 P.M.!

But he researched that book for two years, I could seriously see him getting an honorary PhD. for it....

    1. Patty, I'll definitely tell Kev this, ha ha--it's not my sort of thing, that's why I created an "a bit edgy" page on our website, lol! It's not actually a book, just a video and merchandise, but since you'd pick this, I'll have to tell Kev we should make a book out of it. It's actually easy to do, we just take screen shots from the video...it's high enough res in Adobe Premiere that we can do that, so it wouldn't be too hard to make it into a book!

    1. Wow, Dario--that's not a book either just a video...for now. We have tee shirts, too, though, of it. I guess we'll need to get crackin' and make some more books/merchandise. It's easy to do with print on demand! Anyone can be an entrepreneur nowadays, which is great!

  39. Oh, and for anyone who's in the Grand Rapids area, Kev will be on Take 5 next week for his serial killer book! Just had the shoot yesterday and they liked him so much they invited him back for a monthly gig for his Strange Grand Haven series!

And for those not in West MI, we'll post a video of his appearance!
