I only need a +1.00 reading prescription and I picked out a really cute pair of pink plastic frame glasses. I only have to wear them when I'm at the computer or when I'm reading. I teased Johnny that I'm going to buy one of those chains so I can drop them off my face to my chest when I don't need to wear them. Wearing them makes a HUGE difference in how well I can see up close.
I'm thrilled with the style and think they look really cute. When they arrived, I needed to adjust the plastic ear pieces just a bit, so my husband told me to use boiling water to heat the plastic just enough to make the ear pieces flexible enough to bend a bit. I dipped one side in the water for about 30 seconds, then put it in a dishtowel and bent it inwards. A few adjustments and they fit perfectly! I love my new reading glasses!
