Magnets are, by far, one of the most fascinating things for children to experience. The excitement of polarity seems like magic to them. This Primary Science Magnet Set by Learning Resources is a wonderfully unique magnet set.
The ladybug maze is adorable! Using the large yellow magnet or the purple magnetic post underneath the maze shows children how magnets can pull items (the ladybugs) around. Using the two cars teaches them that magnets can also push items around.
This set also comes with a set of activity cards and simple experiments to get children started. They are laminated to last through many preschool science sessions. The children absolutely loved the discs that seemed to float above each other on the purple post.
The flat magnets fit on the underside of the cars and moving the polar sides together causes one to flip around the other direction and click to the other. The surprised squeals and giggles were proof that science really is fun!
Learning Resources offers many different wonderful learning toys that will captivate and fascinate your children. You can shop online at http://www.learningresources.com/. Be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!
