Mini Pops looks like tiny popcorn, tastes a lot like popcorn, but it's not popcorn! It is popped sorghum grain. Mini Pops comes in a variety of flavors, just like popcorn, but the similarities end there. Mini Pops has fewer calories, more protein and is lower in saturated fat.
Mini Pops is higher in iron and calcium than popcorn. The Mini Pops manufacturing facility is nut free, gluten free, organic and kosher. But does it taste good? I tried the Itty Bitty Butter Mini Pops and it's really good! I did notice that since it's corn-free, there are no hulls to get stuck in my teeth.
I expected the Subatomic Sea Salt to taste saltier than it did but it was okay. Now, the Baby White Cheddar...that was really, really good. I love healthy snacks that are guilt-free! Mini Pops snacks are cute, crunchy and fun to eat.
The Cutie Caramel Clusters are absolutely delicious. I love the way the caramel makes the Mini Pops stick together. It's a great snack! Did I mention Mini Pops are also non-GMO, which means you know you are getting real grain. It's also free of pesticides.
