Brenda's Perfect Brittle - Review

If you love peanut brittle, you're going to love Brenda's Perfect Brittle. If you hate peanut brittle, you are going to love Brenda's Perfect Brittle. This wonderful family recipe was perfected by Brenda Osburn in the Land of Enchantment aka New Mexico. I'm guessing it's enchanted because it really is different from any other brittle I've ever tasted (and believe me, there's been a fair share pass through my lips).
This gourmet brittle is lighter, is thicker, is tastier, is chunkier, and comes in flavors that you'd never suspect. As I pulled the bags from the packing box, the Pumpkin Pie Brittle caught my eye first. I'm a huge pumpkin pie lover so I tore into the bag and there is just nothing else like it. Plus, they are gluten free and vegan!
I love these little lollipop brittles! Perfect for gift giving or even to top off a gift as a decoration. Brenda's Perfect Brittle is made with NO added butter, so it won't stick to your teeth the way traditional brittle will. It's also much healthier!
I was very intrigued by the Brittle with Green Chile and with Red Chile. My son decided they were too hot for him, but I love the taste. This brittle isn't just made with peanuts either; some of the flavors include pine nuts or pecans. Here's a close up of the Pumpkin Pie, made simply with pumpkin seeds, corn syrup, sugar, baking soda and spices. No weird stuff I can't pronounce!
The Pecan Cherry is another super favorite flavor of mine. Nice, big, dried cherries tossed with big pecans makes for an amazing combination. I also really liked the Macadamia Gon' Coconuts Brittle. I mean, who would have ever thought coconut would be good in brittle?
Five stars for this amazingly delicious, healthy snack!
