AdoraPet Books for Children - Review

AdoraPet books for children are wonderful little treasures! The children were so excited to get their hands on the books. I love that the stories are written to "inspire kids to read, play, dream and discover.." because that's exactly how I run my childcare program! Each of the eight books available is a different adventure for the children. The books are hardback bound with sturdy library-quality paper pages.
The main characters are puppy friends, Pima and Pico, and are of are both genders, so the books appeal to boys and girls. The pictures are hand-drawn and digitally colored, so they are bright and vibrant. Each adventure is written in rhyme, helping the words of the story take on a life of their own. Rhyming picture books are very important for a child's language development.
The three books I received include an astronaut adventure, a pirate adventure, and a firefighter adventure. I love that AdoraPet books are perfectly sized for small hands. We read the stories together and then the kids wandered off and I could hear them "reading" the stories on their own. Later, I found them playing pirate treasure hunt in the dramatic play area. These books would make great gifts for children and in the front of each book is a place to fill in to: and from: so the gift is more personalized. I love these books and the children do too. You can buy AdoraPet books at www.AdoraPet.com and at your local Barnes and Noble store.
