Quit Eating Like a Pig Diet - Day One

That's it. I've had it. I cannot look at "fat" photos of me any longer. It's time for some radical changes in my food consumption. I'm officially on the Quit Eating Like a Pig Diet! Today is Day One.

Day One Menu:

Breakfast: Tangelo, Banana, Coffee
Snack: 1/4 Apple, 10 Peeled Baby Carrots, 1 Cup Blueberry juice
Lunch: Veggie Salad (lettuce, spinach, tomato, green onion, cucumber, mushroom, 1/2 cup of Chipotle dressing), Coffee
Dinner: Whole Grain Pasta with Assorted Veggies (cucumber, celery, spinach, tomato, onion) in Pomegranate Vinegar (cooked with no oils or fats), Mandarin Oranges, Coffee
Filtered Water throughout the day
Veggie Pasta
I am so proud of myself. I didn't even eat the piece of bologna that was leftover from the daycare kids' lunch preparation. I gave it to the dog instead. My meals today were delicious and nutritious!

  2. I'm so with you on this one, I really need to start the 'Quit Eating Like A Pig' diet too! So sick of all my clothes not fitting properly.

  3. A Tangelo is a hybrid tangerine and orange. No seeds and very good.

  4. When I was younger, my family members used to tease me of being skinny. Now, after having two kids, they all want to be like me. I can eat like a pig, but don't gain pounds.

  6. All I see you are eating are vegetables and a little bit of fruit. You need dairy, and protein. Your muscles need them! You can eat healthy lunch meat-- deli sliced ham or turkey are very low calorie but full of good protein. Wrap a slice around a stick of string cheese for a good snack! Don't starve yourself because you will definitely make up for it later. Been there!

  7. Congrats. I just started the 'I had the stomach flu and lost some weight so might as well continue with it diet'.

    I'm going to agree and disagre with Dawn. You need protien and calcium. It doesnt have to be a dairy sources for them though. And of course not all protien needs to be from meat.
    Beans are a wonderful low fat source of protien.
    If you do want/allow dairy, you can get calcium and protien with no fat using a plain no-fat greek yogurt.
