Alphabet Exercise DVD - Review

Finding appropriate videos for children is always a challenge. I want them to watch educational shows, but if the videos isn't fun the children won't watch. I'm so glad I found Rock N Learn videos. I'm working on building an entire library of these fabulous videos. I received the Alphabet Exercise video and could hardly wait to let the kids watch it. Normally children are very passive when the telly is on, but not this time. I love this company and their videos!

The music and narration of this video captures and holds their attention, leading them through moving their bodies. It develops listening skills while helping them build large motor skills by stretching, dancing, jumping and even resting. I was so excited to see these kids jump right in and participate. What a super rainy day activity (if we ever get rain again in Texas).
The letter recognition component of this video is such an added bonus! One of my absolutely favorite things about Rock N Learn videos is that when you put them in the DVD player, there is NOT twenty minutes of commercials!!! The video begins immediately. The people at Rock N Learn are geniuses!!! I recorded a bit of the kids for you, because photos just don't do this video justice. Enjoy!

  1. Looks like an educational DVD. We need help with my youngest grand child. This would be perfect for him. My daughter was trying to practice his sounds with him in the car. She had the older two play along so he would think it was a game.
She started with the oldest one who said his name, the letter it started with and the sound it made.
The second one went next. Now it is time for the youngest.
His response? "You know, I really don't have time for this."
We need a fun way to do this LOL
