Experience Hawaii at Embassy Suites Waikiki #travel

Disclosure: I received two nights' stay in exchange for my honest review.
Being in Hawaii is one of the most breathtaking experiences ever! It is incredibly beautiful, with palm trees towering overhead and tropical flowers blooming everywhere. The ocean displays hundreds of hues of blue, reflecting off the blue sky, while the white caps of the waves complement the puffy white clouds that dance as the trade winds blow. Embassy Suites Waikiki is the perfect place to stay when visiting the island of Oahu! When I checked into the hotel, I was greeted with warm Aloha spirit and a refreshing glass of complimentary tropical fruit juice.
Our king-size, ocean view suite was more like a comfortable one-bedroom apartment. It was beautifully decorated and provided a sitting area, dining area and kitchenette, bathroom, and large master suite. Both the sitting area and bedroom offered a walk-out lanai (balcony), but since we arrived late at night for our stay, I had to wait until morning to see the ocean view.
The furniture in our room was all made of light-colored wood, giving it a very Hawaiian feel, and I loved the small touches like the wood flowers that hugged the edge of the mirror and the tropical leaves carved into the legs of the dining table (which also doubled as a desk area). I also discovered the coffee table doubles as a footrest with a cushioned top for tired feet.
After walking all around Waikiki during the day, this king-size bed was calling my name. Check out the hula girl lamps on the bedside tables! The bedroom also featured a vanity and bench. The entire suite was carpeted, with the exception of the kitchenette and the bathroom.
Our suite was impeccably clean and everything in the room was excellent quality. In fact, it all appeared to be brand new. There were two televisions, one in the sitting area and one in the bedroom. There was plenty of storage space throughout the entire suite, so we could easily unpack and stay for a week without tripping over our luggage.
The bathroom offered all the complimentary toiletries we would need for our stay, and I even found a stack of bright yellow and white striped towels for the pool, or for the beach which was just steps away from the hotel.
I was delighted to find this tote bag gift in our room! It's the perfect size to take to the beach and I'll be able to use it again and again, to remind me of my stay with Embassy Suites Waikiki. I also discovered a coupon book in the room, full of great discounts to local restaurants and shops.
I stepped out onto the lanai from the bedroom, to inhale the salty air of the ocean, and from our 14th floor room, I had this amazing view of the Embassy Suites Waikiki pool area. The pool is simply stunning and there are tons of chaise lounges and even cabana beds on the deck. I'm sure I was smiling as I fell asleep in that big, comfortable, king-sized bed!
This! Now this is the ultimate view I was waiting for! Isn't that the most beautiful combination of blues in the entire world? I absolutely LOVE the ocean, and the view from the Embassy Suites Waikiki is fabulous! Watching the ocean waves is both calming and exhilarating to me. THIS is my happy place.
Upon check-in, Embassy Suites Waikiki also provided coupons for their hot breakfast. There are lots of great choices, including eggs, bacon, sausage, a selection of fruits, a variety of breads, yogurt, potatoes, salad, and so much more. There is even a chef station where they'll make an omelette of your choosing right in front of you!
If you call for a cab at the Embassy Suites Waikiki, you might just find yourself in the back of a stretch limousine! It made me feel like a queen. All of the staff at the hotel are very courteous, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and exude true Aloha spirit by going out of their way to make their guests feel welcome.
After a day of exploring the Waikiki parks and beaches, we headed back the the Embassy Suites Waikiki to relax with complimentary snacks and cocktails at the Manager's Reception by the pool area. I chose a Blue Hawaiian (okay, maybe a few) and my husband opted for Margaritas.
The sunset over Hawaii from the 14th floor was absolutely mind-blowing! Embassy Suites Waikiki definitely selected a great location in Honolulu to be able to experience such beautiful sunsets. Plus, they are walking distance to all the action of Waikiki, including shops, restaurants, and of course Waikiki Beach, where you can swim and surf, or just stroll along the boardwalk.
Special thanks to the amazing Embassy Suites Waikiki chef who created one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Who would have thought room service could be this delicious? It was more than enough for two of us. Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way. I highly recommend Embassy Suites Waikiki!
