Back to School: Pecan Pie Sandwich with Sante Nuts

I'm nuts about nuts! I love all kinds of nuts and I think it's fabulous that one of my favorite foods is good for me. Sante Nuts Cardamom Cashews are sweet and exotic. Cashews are a sweet-tasting nut and Sante Nuts combines them with an aromatic cardamom and pure cane sugar, for a taste that melts in your mouth and a delightful crunch.
Every cashew in the bag was perfectly flavored, without a single naked nut in the bunch. They are a great snack right out of the bag, mixed into a salad, or try them in a Cashew Chicken recipe for an extra exotic taste!
The Sante Nuts Cinnamon Pecans are my favorite of the three I received to try. I love pecans and I love cinnamon, so the combination is simply heavenly. The Sante Nuts Chipotle Almonds are fabulous. Here in Texas we love spicy foods and these almonds have a great kick of heat combined with a touch of sweetness that I love. They are delectable snacks and are perfect for making an amazing almond butter! I can't wait to try their Garlic Almonds too.

Grilled Pecan Pie Sandwiches

1 5-oz. bag of Santé Candied Pecans
Thick-cut whole grain bread
Bosc pears, cored and sliced
Butter, room temperature

Place Candied Pecans in food processor and process until smooth, scraping down the side of the bowl every so often.
Pre-heat a non-stick pan on low. Spread a good amount of pecan butter on one side of bread and fan out slices of pear on top.
Cover with a second slice of bread and spread butter on both sides.
Place on non-stick pan and cook until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes.
