Dorm Essentials at Twin XL

Disclosure: I received product at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
Sending your teenager off to college has many challenges. After all, as the parent you've been in control of most of their decisions and activities, then suddenly you're dropping them off in another city to start their adult life. Driving away is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. Making sure they have some of the comforts of home can be a challenge too, especially if they are moving into a dorm. Those beds just aren't very comfortable.
Did you know most colleges have twin XL beds? The mattresses are about six inches longer than a traditional twin bed, so your college student WILL need new bedding. Until now, it's been a desperate search to find bedding that fits. Twin XL is the place to get the bedding that will help your college student sleep well at night. You'll sleep better, too, knowing you've at least given quality bedding to rest a tired body after a long day of lectures, homework, and exams.
I love the Dorm in a Box Value Bundle because it comes with all the essentials my son needs in his dorm room. This bundle lets you choose the mattress pad, sheet set, and comforter set that matches your needs. We chose the 250TC Cotton Damask Stripe Mattress Pad for Twin XL beds because it adds comfort and protection with 100-percent cotton damask stripe woven top with fitted corners.
The 100% Cotton Jersey Twin XL Sheet sets come in lots of great colors and are so soft. The vibrant crisp colors won't fade and will fit mattresses up to 15 inches deep. The sheet sets are machine wash and dry (and as parents we can only hope they do laundry once in a while). The sheet set includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a standard pillowcase.
The Twin XL Comforter set includes a big fluffy comforter in many different color choices and also includes a pillow sham if your teens likes an extra pillow on their bed. I love that the comforter has block stitching because it keeps all the filling in place, even through the washer and dryer. We opted for brown jersey sheets and a tan comforter set.
Twin XL has so many choices for bedding in this unique size that your college student will need over the next four (or more) years. In addition to the Dorm in a Box Value Bundle set, Twin XL also offers individual sheets, comforters, blankets, and mattress pads so you can choose what's right for your teen.
Twin XL offers the very best selection of bedding in the twin XL size and very competitive prices, plus you qualify for FREE shipping on all orders over $79. Your college student will wake up refreshed and ready to take on the world! Oh, did I mention the Dorm in a Box Value Bundle SAVES you money? Once you see the price of textbooks, you'll be thrilled you saved money on bedding!
My college student and I both give our stamp of approval on Twin XL bedding!

  1. I have heard that Twin XL are hard to find. I saw on another blogger's page that they suggested you opt for full size sheets and just tuck the excess under the mattress.
