Let's face it, life can really suck sometimes. There are never-ending bills to pay, rooms to clean, laundry to fold, dishes to wash, errands to run, family to feed, and the list goes on and on. It can be very overwhelming at times to the point where it nearly crushes a person's spirit. Jobs are hard to find these days and even when you have one, the demands of work can press into the other areas of life. Relationships with family and friends can be a challenge to maintain, especially if it's a difficult relationship. Laughter truly is the best medicine!
Embrace yourself and your life by learning to laugh at the things that could easily make you crazy. Sometimes when I'm about to cry because everything seems to pile up at once, my husband always knows how to make me laugh. Laughter is good for the soul and good for your health. It can uplift your entire day. It also makes you more beautiful!
So, how does one learn to laugh when feeling down? Often it takes an outside influence, like a spouse or a child or a pet. If you're alone at the time, you can reach for a humorous book or watch funny videos online. The important thing is to take the time to enjoy life, because even with all of the demands of life, finding the joy and laughter in all of it is what really matters.
