Hey God, I've Got Some Guy Named Jonah in My Stomach and I Think I'm Gonna Throw Up! - Book Review

Disclosure: I received this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
The story of Jonah in the belly of the whale is a well-known Bible story. Author Troy Schmidt has penned this famous story in his new children's book Hey God, I've Got Some Guy Named Jonah in My Stomach and I Think I'm Gonna Throw Up! Instead of using Jonah's perspective, this book tells the story from the whale's point of view.
The whale that swallowed Jonah didn't want him in his stomach. The story tells us how the whale felt, what the whale thought, and the whale's decision to do the job God has planned for him. I absolutely loved this book. It's a very entertaining way to tell the story and a great way to instill more knowledge about our God into the minds of our children.. The illustrations by Cory Jones are bright, colorful, and full of expression.
At the back of the book is the Parent Connection feature to help parents and teachers to extend the story for children with scripture, questions, and activities. This book is just one in a new series so be sure to watch for the Raven's story of the Ark experience and the Frog's version of the Plagues. Get your copy of the Whale's story HERE and be sure to follow author Troy Schmidt on Facebook.
Five stars for this children's book!
