Holiday Drink Recipes from Cascade Ice - Review

It's time to start thinking about the holiday drinks you'll be serving this season. Cascade Ice Sparkling Waters can help you serve up some amazing drinks that will impress even the pickiest of party-goers and house guests! With little to no calories, Cascade Ice is also sodium-free, caffeine-free, sugar-free, carb-free and gluten-free. Hooray for guilt-free drinking!
The Lemonade Cascade Ice was so tempting I didn't even bother to make a fancy drink out of it. It's amazingly delicious bubbly lemonade and is my favorite of the five flavors I received to try. Here's a great Lemon Drop recipe from Cascade Ice:
  1. In a 16oz mixer cup half full of ice squeeze in the juice of 2 lemon wedges with 1 and 1/4oz of Vodka
  2. Add 4 oz of Cascade Ice 5 Calorie Lemon Drop Mixer
  3. Shake gently or stir aggressively and strain contents into an 8oz martini glass with a sugar rim
  4. For a special treat garnish by dropping 4 Lemon Head hard candies into the finished cocktail with a lemon twist
The most unique flavor I received was the Coconut Cascade Ice. Before tasting it, I smelled it and I wasn't so sure I'd even like it. I was so wrong. It's absolutely scrumptious! I drank the entire bottle in one sitting. Cascade Ice recommends mixing 8oz of Coconut Sparkling Water with 1 and 1/2oz of pineapple juice and adding 4 maraschino cherries to make their Coconut Chiller.
The Cascade Ice Pink Grapefruit juice was definitely not for me, but I have never liked grapefruit anyway. Perhaps if I had some pineapple juice here, I could have tried mixing up their Pink Grapefruit Pineapple Punch recipe. I might have liked it better.
Margarita Cascade Ice is right up my alley! I've had my fair share of margaritas in my lifetime, but this is the first time I've ever had one made with sparkling water. That extra zing of sparkling water gives it a whole new taste. Here's the yummy Cascade Ice Margarita recipe:
  1. In a 16oz mixer cup squeeze in the juice of 2 lime wedges and leave wedges in mixer cup with 1 and 1/2oz of Tequila
  2. Add 8oz of Cascade Ice 10 Calorie Margarita Mixer
  3. Shake gently or stir aggressively and pour entire contents into your favorite 14oz Margarita glass with a salted rim
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel
In the mood for a Cosmopolitan? I love this fruity combination! You'll definitely impress your guests with this recipe:
  1. In a 16oz mixer cup half full of ice add juice of an Orange and Lime wedge with 1 and 1/4oz of vodka
  2. Add 4oz of Cascade Ice 0 Calorie Cosmopolitan Mixer
  3. Shake gently or stir aggressively and strain contents into an 8oz Martini glass
  4. Garnish with a floating orange wheel and when in season drop 4-6 fresh cranberries in the bottom of the martini glass
With 21 delicious flavors, Cascade Ice can also help you create a Holiday-Jito, a Chanukkah Colado, a Mrs. Claus-mopolitan, and a Feliz-a-tini. Their website offers lots of drink recipes to try and you can even do a search to find out where it's sold near you. I found Cascade Ice at my local HEB Grocery Store!

Disclosure: I received these products at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
