300 Sensational Soups - Review

It's the best time of year to make soup! I love a nice, thick, hearty soup and 300 Sensational Soups has tons of fabulous recipes to warm me to my toes. This great collection is authored by Carla Snyder and Meredith Deeds. My favorite, so far, is the Texas Cowboy Soup because it's a heart soup perfect for meat lovers. There are dessert soups too, like Raspberry and White Chocolate Swirl Soup with Brownie Croutons. I found a Saffron Paella Soup, an international style soup that features fish, that I'm going to try next week. There are recipes for bean soups, chowders, cheese soups and even chilled soups. My husband keeps asking me to make the Easy Chipotle Chicken Soup. This fabulous cookbook has over 400 pages and includes lots of great color photos too. Pick up a copy for a Christmas gift for someone you love!
Disclosure: I received this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review.

I found a lot of new and interesting ideas when I leafed through the new 300 Sensational Soups. These recipes cover a lot of ground... But what really grabbed my attention was the wealth of creative recipes. (Michael Hastings Journal Now)
