Shabby Apple sent me this beautiful dress called L'Amour and I absolutely love the vintage look of it. It's a beautiful green, perfect for spring, summer and fall. It's made of tightly-woven cotton lawn and is fully lined. The layered ruffles on the chest give it a fun, flirty look and the ruffled cap sleeves complete the vintage dress style.

It zips up the back from below the waistline and the elastic around the waist offers an extra level of comfort. It also means as I continue on my diet, it will still fit me when I'm 40 pounds lighter! It's definitely darling for a daytime fashion and sharp enough an evening date with my husband. Speaking of my husband, he loved this dress on me!

It's machine wash and hang to dry. I'm not big on ironing (let's face it, I hate ironing) so I especially love the flowing, angled look on the front because I promise you, I will never iron this! I think retro dresses should have a casual look to them anyway. It's also very comfortable to wear.
